Am I the only one who dislikes the Hunger Games?
I just find the story line disturbing…and the fact that its written for kids and how famous and popular its become EVEN MORE disturbing.. Since when is a story about kids killing each other interesting? And there was no depth to any of the characters either. If it was more about the politics of the screwed up world they lived in, kind of like Orwell’s “1984”, then maybe it would’ve been better.

As much as I dream of waking up one morning and thinking, “today’s a fine morning to bake a batch of muffins!” I don’t think I have the initiative to actually do it…it would be pretty amazing if I actually did it though. I’d feel so accomplished. I will forsure blog about it if I ever did.
I can’t wait for spring
I hate leaving the heater on in the house and being chilled to the bones when I’m outside. I want the days longer and sunshine and being able to walk around town in a t-shirt. As much as I love hot chocolate, I want ice coffees and chill picnics at the park. I want color when I see people walking down the street. Pops of coral and pink and turquois and mint green. Sandals on girls and shorts and sunglasses on guys.
Hurry up spring! I’m getting antsy.
my ideal weekend morning would be to go to a neighborhood cafe with a friend or boyfriend and have a latte and croissant and just chat.
